The Vampires Assistant by Darren Shan. In the book their is a snake boy named Evra Von. He's probably about 16 years old. He is very thin with long yellow-green hair narrow eyes and strangely webbed fingers and toes; his body was covered in green gold yellow and blue scales. He has the longest tongue in the world.
Evra had been born to ordinary parents. They were horrified when he was born. The abandoned him at an orphanage , where he stayed until an evil circus owner bought him at the age of four. "Those were bad days" he said quietly." He used to beat me and treat me like a real snake. He kept me locked up in a glass cage and let people pay to look at me and laugh" He was with the circus for seven long , miserable years , touring small towns , being made to feel ugly and freakish and useless. Finally , Mr.Tall came to the rescue . "He showed up one night" Evra said " He appeared suddenly out of the darkness and stood by my cage for a long time , watching me. He didn't say a word.Neither did I. The circus owner came. He didn't know who Mr.Tall was, but thought he might be a rich man, interested in buying me. He gave him his price and stood back , waiting for an answer. "Mr.Tall didn't say anything for a few mintues. Then his left hand grabbed the circus owner by the neck. He squeezed once and that was the end of him. He fell to the floor dead. Mr.Tall opened the door to my cage and said "Lets go Evra".
I think that it was nice of Mr.Tall to rescue Evra liked that. If I were Evra's parent I would never have gave him away. He had a sad childhood. I feel bad for him. But I guess now hes happy working for Mr.Tall.I think it would have been cool to have been born half snake half human. I have 1 question though.... How come Evra was born like that?

I started reading a book on Friday called..."The Princess Diaries" by Meg Cabot. The books about a girl named Mia Thermopolis who feels like shes and outsider at her school. I can kinda relate to this book because I use to have a friend who felt the same way as her. Sometimes I feel like Mia too. But then I remember that I have alot of friends and great teachers I can talk to when i'm feeling down. Its a pretty interesting book. it talks alot about how to deak with bullies and how to be confident with yourself. I still have a lot to read so I better get goign then....

Reading Journal ...#13
The book im currently reading is "Twilight the complete illustrated movie companion". Basically it just like a behind the scenes book of the movie twilight. Its explains like how the movie was made and it tells a little about what vampires and werewolves. In the book it says that the author stephanie meyer says that" I think one of the reasons vampires have an enduring quality is they're the only monsters that are really attractive". I think that it is true because all of te vampires movies there are all the vampires are very attractive. The only reason why there like that is because when vampires are in the sun they sparkle and thats what makes them beautiful. They use their charm to seduce women and after they do they drink their blood.I think that the book is interesting and it tells me a lot of things about the movie. ...So I look forward to reading more in the book...!!!

Thhis advetisement features three logical fallacies.
- Appeal to celebrity: This fallacy says that if a celebrity believes something then it must be true.
- Appeal to tradition : This fallacy says that the product has been used for a long period of time.
-Appeal to the consumer: This fallacy says that their product is cool.

Today's top story....:)
Today's top story is.......Low - emission Engines for Future Hybrids.
As you may know China is one of the most polluted countries in the world. Some people may not be aware of what could happen if they keep polluting there country. Illnesses and diseases can occur because of the excessive use of fossil fuels. China seems to be doing nothing about it , but now they are paying attention to the environmental effects of the poisonous gases. They are now making rapid changes to clean energy and investing time in green energy. People in China are working on a new type of internal combustion engine. Researchers in China are developing and using a new hybrid type of car. Can't wait to drive around in one of their cars.
